September - December 2016

Rosie Gray
Reason for Winning: She's committed and enthusiastic and always gives 100%. She's young and has tons of potential and has a great attitude. She's been promoted to the B team and team mates have noticed a great improvement and good work ethic.
Money Spent On: U'18s Christmas social to Winter Wonderland with ice skating & money towards Bose sound system for training

Kaylin Screene
Reason for Winning: a very talented U12 player, always turns up to training and gives 100% in drills and games. She interacts with her squad very well and is always cheerful. Her ability to play in any position makes her shine out!
Money Spent On: Surrey Storm v Mavericks (11/03/2016) & money towards Bose sound system for training

January - June 2017

Charlie Wicking
Reason for Winning: Charlie has made a huge improvement in her game this year and has moved from the 5th up to the 2nds in a year. She also is a big help with the Juniors.
Money Spent On: Money to be put towards training professionals in addition to our fabulous coaches.

Georgia Burr
Reason for Winning: Great shooter showing lots of potential and good movement on court. Good attendance at training and matches. She's focused and a great team player. She has shown great improvement and has gone from the 5th team to the 3rds.
Money Spent On: Money to be put towards training professionals in addition to our fabulous coaches.

Isobel Ross
Reason for Winning: Over the last 2 years she has suffered with knee problems, despite physio's advising she should stop playing netball she has refused to give up. She has religiously done the many exercise routines that she has been given. This has finally allowed her to play two 15 minute quarters - her goal is to get to play 3 quarters by the end of the year. Whilst on the side lines she is one of the teams most avid advisors shouting plenty of encouragement to the girls.
Money Spent On: England netball player for Hillcrest's annual summer camp.

Marnie Eakins
Reason for Winning: Marnie helps with Juniors every week and really gets involved in helping with the session and coming up with ideas herself. She always asks the coaches what she can do to assist and helps clear up equipment without being asked. She is also a great player and whenever she falls down or gets injured is straight back up without complaint. Great sportsmanship.
Money Spent On: Money to be spent on Surrey storm tickets for the 2017/2018 season
