Hillcrest Netball Club

We are the most Senior Members of the club (sometimes known as Leg-ends)! We represent those who have reached a maturity where our preference is not to play competitive league matches anymore. And because Netball and Hillcrest are practically part of our DNA, every now and then, us seasoned legends get out the Jade and Blue, dust off our trainers, strut onto the court and play a game with bite. (Sure, the next day we walk like we’ve just climbed Everest backwards, but hey, if someone asks us to play, we lace up our trainers faster than you can say “deep heat.”!!)

Key things about us:

• In our hey-day, we’ve boasted Legend players who represented County, Regional and England Netball.
• We are lifelong friends and meet up regularly for meals, drinks, exercise walks and silly-ness.
• We have daughters, nieces and granddaughters who now play for Hillcrest.
• At the end of season, we take part in our Hillcrest 7s Heaven Tournament and fair well each year, always better than the last.
• Through Netball, we have supported each other through life’s challenges and proud to state and believe there are no faster or firmer friendships than those formed between people who love the same thing .
• We are Hillcrest Legends, true Jade & Blue and love each other and this wonderful game of Netball.
