The first fixture against Pleiades B was on a cold, wet day and was quite a close match throughout.
The second fixture was played on a sunny, warm day; starting 7 (GS to GK) Kate Davies, Lizzie Butler, Sam Edwards, Katie Lister, Hayleigh Gallagher, Cassie McCarthy and Robyn Lafferty and the first quarter reflected the first match going goal for goal with the score at the end of the first quarter 7-8 to Pleiades. A similar second quarter saw Hillcrest take the lead at half time but only by one.
One change at half time saw Emma Richardson replace Lizzie Butler and this change seemed to give GS Kate more confidence as her shooting stats picked up with Hillcrest building a solid lead at the end of the third quarter. They built on this lead in the last quarter, winning in the end by 14 goals.
