In 2021, Croydon’s Youth Engagement Team in collaboration with England Netball launched Beyond the Court, an initiative designed to unite our community through the power of sport.

For Beyond the Court’s first session, they focussed on teamwork and held a series of team building workshops, with coaching from Bryony Huggett and Frankie Akano from Hillcrest Netball Club along with CMO Netball Club and London South East netball region.

For all those who participated, a passion for netball was ignited, fostering unique opportunities for young women to develop new skills and discover pathways into the sport.
