End of Season Dinner and Dance:

Was held at the clubhouse on Saturday 22nd June and attended by some 50 revellers dancing to a disco and dinning on lovely food provided by Michael and Gill - thank you.

Text Box: Emily Rogers has improved so much in her first year with the Seniors.  She has loads of potential and is an absolutely lovely player.  We can see her most definitely playing in our top teams very soon. Junior & Club Coach: Clare Nicholls Text Box: Millie Oughton played in the extremely tough U16 league.  She worked hard and played hard all season.  Millie gives 100% in all her games, she is very loyal and committed to the Club and is the anchor of the U16 Regional Squad Junior & Club Coach: Clare Nicholls Text Box: Emily Nicholls has excelled this season, her skills have improved no end and she has become a better and excellent player all round.  It is a pleasure to watch her in a game.  Despite playing practically every position on court (except maybe circle defence - although I sure she could turn her hand to it)!! and a different position most quarters, she has played her heart out every match and has adapted her game to the position being played.  I am sure it comes as no surprise that Emily is the A Team Player of the Year. Annette Goodman was not far behind - so well done to her as well. A Team Captain: Cassie McCarthy Text Box: Hayley Mattision has improved so much in a year.  Having just come up from the Juniors she just grows from strength to strength.  She is getting more confident and more competitive in her game, but not as aggressive yet as her mother!! Text Box: Tatiana Aspenwall  is unfortunately not here at the dinner tonight, however, an amazing young player with loads of potential.  Despite an ongoing injury has so much enthusiasm and passion for the game and is improving all the time Text Box: Laura Pennells is unfortunately not at the dinner tonight, however she is already playing in our top senior teams.  She got into U18 Academy and also South East screening.  She just missed out on being selected for England Development Squad, but as a young player her potential is awesome. Text Box: Sophie Hodge  is improving and growing in confidence all the time.  She listens and puts into practice what is asked of her.  She's always at training with a smile and works hard.  She is a true asset to our club.
