The first season of the Nonsuch Junior League finished in March 2008.  The league was created after consultation with local clubs to provide new competitive opportunities.  Eight clubs participated in the first season of the league, fielding 27 teams in 4 age groups.  Surrey County Netball Association awarded the league a grant to assist with set up costs and Chris Kelson of SCNA presented medals to the winners at the end of the season
