Jack Petchey

The winner will receive a framed certificate and the choice of what to spend £200 on, choosing from items detailed upon Hillcrest Netball Club’s “Wish List” (for example new balls; equipment for circuits; new posts, new exercise mats). Please note that the cheque is payable to Hillcrest Netball Club and the monies must be spent on furthering the club. If you have any ideas or thoughts as to what you would like to see on the “Wish List” then please drop me a line. The award winners also get the opportunity to attend a Jack Petchey ceremony evening where they are presented with a gold medallion.

The winner does not have to be the cleverest person or best player. It should be someone who works hard, is committed at training or someone who has done something positive for someone else.

We are now into the award year for 2009.   This year we have 6 awards to give of £200 each.

The winner is selected by a Jack Petchey Committee, who will have discussed with their teams who they believe should win an award.  There will be a senior and a junior committee, which shall have a representative from each team.  I will meet with the committee to discuss who should win the award for that month.

There is to be a junior award winner for February 2009 and April 2009 and a senior winner for March 2009 and May 2009.  The remaining awards will be made next season.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries.
Thanks
